Syntax

diagnose sys top [<delay>] [<max>]

Key points

  • Columns are process name, PID, state, CPU% and memory%. Press q to quit.
  • High ipsengine load comes from IPS or application control; high wad load from proxy-based inspection.
  • Judge by sustained load, not a single sample.

When it does not work

  • Low memory can push the unit into conserve mode, which may suspend inspection. Check memory in get system performance status and run diagnose hardware sysinfo conserve.
