CautionKill a process

taskkill /PID <PID> /F

Terminates a process by PID or image name. /F forces it.

Examples

  • taskkill /IM notepad.exe /FForce-kill by image name

Syntax

taskkill /PID <PID> /F | /IM <name.exe> /F
