SafeExport a VM

Export-VM -Name <vm> -Path <dir>

Writes out config, disks and checkpoints — for relocation or cold backups. Restore with Import-VM.

Examples

  • Export-VM -Name web01 -Path D:\VMExportExport the whole VM

Syntax

Export-VM -Name <vm> -Path <dir>
