SafeHigh-ratio xz compression

xz -k <file> / unxz <file.xz>

Higher compression than gzip (slower). -T0 uses all cores. Common for long-term logs and images.

Examples

xz -T0 -k huge.logParallel compression

Syntax

xz [-d] [-k] [-T0] <file>
