netstat

SafeConnections (legacy)

netstat -tulnp

Lists listeners and connections. Part of net-tools, which minimal RHEL and Ubuntu installs often omit; ss (ss -tulnp) is the successor. Still worth knowing to read old runbooks.

Examples

  • netstat -tulnp | grep :80Who listens on port 80

Syntax

netstat [-tulnp] [-rn] (新環境はss推奨)

Before you run it

Read only.
