aws cloudformation describe-stacks --stack-name <name>

Inspects stacks and deploys templates; on ROLLBACK states, stack-events pinpoints the failing resource.

Syntax

aws cloudformation [describe-stacks|describe-stack-events|deploy --template-file t --stack-name n]
